I took a photo of drum and lyre in yello uniform during the Araw ng Makati Grand Parade. A line-up of green palm trees at the Ayala Avenue center island served as a nice background.

Nuffnang and Hapee Special Screening

What makes both Nuffnang and Hapee first class?
Being the first blog advertising community in the Philippines and in Asia-Pacific, there are many reasons that makes Nuffnang a first class company. Like I've said several times here on my blog, Nuffnang gives bloggers pro and newbie alike the opportunity to mingle with other bloggers and earn from various advertisers. Nuffnang sponsors different types of events to reach out bloggers of different niches.
On the other hand, Hapee is a world-class tootpaste brand manufactured by Lamoiyan Corporation. Two types of Hapee are always present in my grocery list, Hapee Fresh and Cool White toothpaste for the adults and Hapee Kiddie Tootgel for the kids. What makes these products world-class is that quality and affordability go hand and hand.
This is my entry to the Nuffnang and Hapee Special Screening.

This is How I Celebrated my 34th Birthday

Yes, you heard read it right :) I turned 34 last Tuesday, May 24.
My special day started at 5:00. Contrary to my plan to prepare a dinner for the family, I just cooked Thea's most requested spaghetti. However, I still owe her favorite fruit salad. I also shared the spaghetti to my officemates.
My friends posted birthday greetings and wishes on my Facebook Wall. Some greeted me through SMS. And most of all, my beloved husband called me several times.
At 5:30 p.m. our department conducted the monthly staff meeting. All of us gathered together and the group of April birthday celebrators hosted the games and gave us, the May birthday celebrators tokens and cupcakes. Thank you so much for making our birthday a colorful one. Oh, I should not forget our cute birthday banner - they made us Disney Princesses for a day. I was Pocahontas, haha.
After our meeting, I traveled to Quezon City via MRT for another meeting. I was surprised by the group. They ordered pizza, because I was my birthday, hahaha. Thank you, team!
With all these things that all happened on my birth anniversary, I feel so loved!I love all of you, too!!!I thank God for continuously showering His love and blessing to me and my family.
Happy Birthday to me!!!

Thank you PMC moms for continuously hosting memes. This is my second time to join a meme hosted by my fellow mommy bloggers.

Girls Talk is hosted by Mommy Gene
My first entry comprised of my daughter Thea's summer escapade at the New World Hotel Makati City. She was tagged along by her aunt and cousins. I wasn't able to join them because I had work at that time. She said that their overnight stay at the hotel was the coolest summer activity ever. :)

Nuffnang, Asia Pacific's first ever blog advertising companies, is one of the most loved company of bloggers like me. I love Nuffnang because joining them is not complicated and once you become a member, there are limitless possibilities of winning and earning. When I added this blog with them, I become a Bedtime Believer courtesy of Johnson and Johnson Bedtime Collection. Now that I have 3 blogs added to Nuffnang, my earning through ads campaigns is slowly becoming into a reality. And I am excited with my first cash out few months from now. I will be more active in blogging, promise haha.

I Star at Cooking!

Cooking is just one of my passion. I may not be the best cook but a call myself a chef wannabe. Being the youngest in a brood of nine didn't require me to learn how to handle kitchen stuffs during my teenage years. I am more of an errand girl then. When I went to college, I really didn't know much especially when it comes to cooking. Would you believe if I say I didn't know how to prepare fried rice when I was 17? I lived with my aunt who's a good cook. At first, I am her kitchen assistant, but eventually she trusted my to prepare simple dishes.

Green Living Monday: Avon Reusable Shopping Bag
By

Avon is Mother Earth-friendly.... They are discouraging the use of plastic bags among the franchise dealers. That's why I use spacious black and green eco bag whenever I have to purchase items especially the large ones, like the Barbie Lunch Box and Tumbler Set ordered by my officemate for her daughter.
I have lots of eco bags at home. I use them during grocery shopping and even during "Divisoria" days.

Yohan's Firsts: Summer Outing

My officemates and our families went to Bosay Resort in Antipolo City last Saturday for our Summer 2011 getaway. I was hesitant of tagging along little Yohan because I thought he's too young for travelling from Mandaluyong-Antipolo via public transportation. I was wrong the little boy didn't have any tantrums at all... He enjoyed the whole trip. Here are the proofs, hahaha.
