PBB Unlimited Big 4

Congratulations, Thea!!!

My daughter Yasmin Althea has successful completed the first step of the education ladder, that is, preschool or pre-elementary. With a span of three years, from Nursery to Preparatory, three different schools had help me mold my little girls both intellectually and emotionally. At age 5, Thea aces in reading and comprehensive though I have to guide her more on writing. She is a budding artist and starting to show qualities of a leader, too. 

Their Graduation Rites was held last Friday, March 23 at the Maranatha Christian Academy Auditorium, Mandaluyong City. She bagged Best in English award. Congratulations, my dear Thea!!!

Before I opened my Glow by J.Lo, the perfume I've been using for months is Eternal Magic ladies perfume. I just its scent that lingers in the air.

I am happy to see a photo posted on Avon's Facebook page. A new scent  - the Eternal Magic Eternal Ladies Perfume will be introduced this coming April. I will definitely grab this from the shelf, try it for myself and recommend to my customers.

Successful Divisoria Shopping

I went to Divisoria last Saturday and I am so happy that  I was able to buy the essential things that my little girl needs for her preschool graduation. Got a White dress for only Php410 (less than $10), with a design similar to the one I've bookmarked during the Internet research.  In fact the cost of the dress is lower than the total cost of the checkered blouse + maong skirt that she'll be wearing in their presentation. And of course, I also bought a dress which I'll wear on Thea's graduation.  :)

My Weekend To-Do List

This coming weekend will be a hectic one. I have so much things to do since my daughter's Preparatory school graduation is slated on March 23. and  we will be having a special occasion in our Church on the 24th and 25th . So, here's my schedule:

Saturday

1. Go to wet market 
2. Participate in the General Cleaning activity in our Church
3. Go to Divisoria to buy a white dress for Thea 
4. Lunchtime -Nap time  
5. Perform duties at the choir 
6. Attend meeting and devotional prayer for the Holy Supper 

Sunday

1. Cook breakfast 
2. Bathe Yohan and Thea 
3. Help Thea dress up/get ready for the Children Worship Service 
4. Defrost refrigerator and cook for lunch 
5. Lunchtime - Nap time 
6. Play time with The and Yohan 
7. Attend choir practice. It will be our final rehearsal for the Holy Supper

International Women's Day 2012

International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8 every year. Thousands of activities/events occur throughout the March in various countries worldwide to mark the economic, political and social involvement and achievement of women. These events is also aimed at raising public awareness on women's rights. 

The global theme of Women's Month this year which was developed by United Nations (UN) is "Empower Rural Women - End Hunger and Poverty". Many organization develop their own themes each year that promotes global and local gender issues. For instance the internationalwomensday.com  website's theme for 2012 is "Connecting Girls, Inspiring Futures."

In the Philippines, the celebration of this year's National Women's Month and National Women's Day are based on the theme "Babae, Tagumpay Ka ng Bayan!" Activities of different government agencies and local government units are aligned with both international and national treaties and legal mandates such as the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), the Beijing Platform for Action, the Millennium Development Goals (MDG), and the Magna Carta of Women.
